3 Legged Thing Luna is a lightweight stand for photographic lights, flashes and strobes, formed from 100% pure carbon fibre tubing with aerospace-grade magnesium alloy supports. Both versatile and easy-to-carry, Luna is ideal for wedding and portrait photographers who shoot on location.

Luna’s legs counter-fold up to the centre column, making it just 56 cm / 22.05” when folded, yet it can extend to a full height of 1.88 m / 74” with legs opened to create a stable base.

Luna features a standard-type stainless steel lighting spigot at the top that works with most lighting fixtures, but to extend its versatility 3 Legged Thing has added a spring-loaded 3/8”-16 thread, that retracts to reveal a ¼”-20 thread at the centre. This enables the stand to be used not just for lights, but also smartphones, action and 360˚ cameras.

The central column of Luna is also removable, transforming it into a useful boom arm for lights or microphones when needed. It extends to 165 cm / 65” at its maximum length yet folds to just 56 cm / 22.05” for transportation.

Luna is supplied with rubber feet that can be pulled off to reveal metal spikes which are ideal to anchor the stand into soft ground when outdoors.
