Fujifilm X half Compact Digital Camera Silver Summary
The Fujifilm X half Compact Digital Camera Silver combines retro styling with an entirely new compact digital concept, which is focused around vertical shooting. It is inspired by 1960’s half-frame film cameras such as the Fujica Half, while offering a distinctive new design, an off-centre optical viewfinder, and a signature elegant silver finish that heralds back to early rangefinder designs.
The camera features a 1-inch sensor with a fixed 32mm full-frame equivalent f/2.8 prime lens, which is the exact same focal length used in iconic single-use instant cameras, but now brought into the digital era. Image formats are optimised for vertical, with 3:4 vertical stills and a novel 2-in-1 mode that combines two vertical exposures into one image. This process is enhanced by using a physical frame-winding lever, which imparts a sense of mechanical interaction with your photography.
