The lite model weighs in at just 738g vs 799g for the standard, yet offers the same high-quality optical design and robust cinema lens exterior.
The cinema lens from is designed to meet the needs of solo creators and production houses, with premium features and high performance optics, which are designed to tell a cinematic story.
The Ranger series spans a zoom range between 16mm to 180mm, with excellent contrast and unified colour matching throughout the series. This Ranger FF Lite 16-30mm T2.9 cine lens features optimised optics with a parfocal design that exhibit virtually no focus breathing for smooth changes when pulling focus.
The lens also boasts a constant wide T2.9 aperture throughout the zoom range, and offers a close minimum focus distance of just 33cm to get you nearer to your subject while defocusing backgrounds. Despite delivering such high image quality, the lens is incredibly lightweight and measures just 10cm in length, which is ideal for handheld shooting, mounting on gimbals, or even for use with a professional drone.
A default PL mount is joined by an interchangeable EF bayonet, which is included in the box.
