Nikon has updated its entry-level full-frame with the second-generation Nikon Z5 II Camera Body. Thanks to its impressive DNA, this compact FX-format Z body offers class-leading features for hybrid stills and video content creation.
With an updated 24.5MP FX-format sensor and most powerful EXPEED 7image processor, it delivers a powerful combination of speed, advanced autofocus and uncompromising image quality.
Focusing is 68% faster than the original Z5, with nine types of subject detection and it introduces 3D tracking to the series. It also boasts high-speed shooting at up to 30 fps with Pre-Release Capture to record moments even before you press the shutter, and impressive -10 EV low-light AF for accurate focusing in near darkness.
The Nikon Z5 II captures clean handheld content with minimal noise too, thanks to a native ISO range of 100–64,000 and Nikon’s precise focus point VR with , which offers up to 7.5-stops of shake compensation in the centre and 6-stops at the edges.
The camera exterior has also been refined, with a brighter 3000-nit EVF, a class-leading 3.2” vari-angle touchscreen and automatic menu rotation for vertical shooting. The body is rugged and weather-sealed, with dual SD card slots and flexible connectivity for both stills and video content.
Video is upgrade with uncropped 4K 30p, cropped 4K 60p and Full HD 120p, with internal N-RAW, the wide-gamut N-Log profile and free RED LUTs for colour grading to achieve cinematic results.
