The Voigtlander Macro APO-Ultron D 35mm f/2 Lens for Nikon Z mount is a large-aperture, compact standard macro. This  has been designed specifically for APS-C sized (DX format)  using the Nikon Z mount, which provides an equivalent 52.5mm focal width (full-frame equivalent).

The compact macro lens is equipped with electronic contacts, which communicate data between the lens and the body. In addition to EXIF data and 3-axis in-body image stabilisation, the lens has three types of focusing support functions:

1. focusing by colour changing of the focus point frame
2. peaking function focusing
3. focusing with the enlargement button

The lens has a maximum F2 aperture, which is extremely large for a macro lens, yet it remains compact and lightweight, weighing just 290g. The special manual focus method enables the lens to shorten the lens extension, compared to the method of extending the entire optical system, while at the same time ensuring stable image quality from long distance to extremely close.

This lens is recommended for macro photography, as well as table photography, portraits and landscapes, as it delivers impressive image quality regardless of distance to the subject.
